I'm reading Small Groups with Purpose.
Page 39-41 lists the DNA of their groups. One that could be interesting to add to our group process is #4... They evangelized the lost.
What about asking group members as part of the curriculum to prayerfully ponder and consider someone they know who could benefit temporally and/or spiritually from a group, then inviting them to the next My Path night or maybe coming as a guest to the next group meeting just to observe and meet the facilitator? This could be one of the assignments which would be reported on the next week.
I like this because it systematizes the recruitment of new group members who could benefit and is compatible with our responsibility to care for others.
